Ich stand im Fußballmuseum in Dortmund, auf der Suche nach dem Besonderen. Nicht die typischen Pokale oder Trikots, sondern etwas, das auf den ersten Blick unscheinbar war. Da waren sie: Stangen im Eingangsbereich. Kein klassisches Fotomotiv – doch genau darin lag die Herausforderung.
Es war nicht leicht, diese Stangen spannend einzufangen. Ich spielte mit Schärfe und Unschärfe, ließ Details verschwimmen und andere hervorstechen. So entstand ein Tanz aus Klarheit und Geheimnis. Doch das war erst der Anfang.
Ich überlagerte die Fotografien in mehreren Ebenen, verband sie mit einer rauen Ziegelsteinmauer – wie ein Fundament aus Geschichte und Struktur. Mit Tuschfarbe setzte ich schließlich den letzten künstlerischen Akzent, verwandelte das Bild von einer reinen Fotografie in ein digitales Gemälde voller Tiefe und Gefühl.
Diese Arbeit erzählt von der Kunst, im Alltäglichen das Außergewöhnliche zu entdecken. Von der Geduld, das Unscheinbare spannend zu machen. Und davon, wie Grenzen zwischen Fotografie und Malerei verschwimmen können.

How I transformed unassuming poles into fascinating digital art in the German Football Museum – and why you should take a closer look.
I was standing in the German Football Museum in Dortmund, searching for something special. Not the typical trophies or jerseys, but something that seemed unremarkable at first glance. And there they were: poles in the entrance area. Not a classic photo subject – but that was precisely the challenge.
It wasn’t easy to capture these poles in a compelling way. I played with focus and blur, blurring some details and making others stand out. This created a dance between clarity and mystery. But that was just the beginning.
I layered the photographs in several layers, connecting them with a rough brick wall – like a foundation of history and structure. Finally, I added the last artistic touch with ink, transforming the image from a mere photograph into a digital painting full of depth and emotion.
This work speaks of the art of discovering the extraordinary in the everyday. Of the patience required to make the inconspicuous captivating. And about how the boundaries between photography and painting can blur.
